Opaline Hotel + Lounge

Project Outline: Use architecture designed by a senior architecture student to problem solve and space plan a hotel lobby and bar, as well as, a floor plate for hotel rooms. Select finishes that are cohesive with the building design and reflect the desired style of the space.
Project Size: 14,024 sq ft
The mood board and materials are directly reflected in the space and I used new tools on Revit to build some of the architectural features seen in the moodboard.
Lobby Floor Plan: My task was to design the hotel entrance of the building, separate from the rest of the ground level. The space is grand and offers guests a variety of seating to communicate an immediate comfortability they can have with the hotel.
Level 34: This hotel floor plate demonstrates the unique challenges and solutions when designing an ovular space. I opted for straight walls for functionality and avoided placing main furniture against windows as they are built at an angle.
